John McCain agrees that the occupation in Iraq has been mismanaged for four years now. He thinks we should trust those who have mismanaged it to turn things around. Those days are over.
He seems to be in a tight spot. How can he support a mess and criticize it at the same time? That's good old Republican hypocrisy at it's best.
And now Bush is giving a big speech trashing the Democrats because they have the gall to want to try another course of action and get us out of the boondoggle Bush has created. Why would he trash those who are trying to do the will of the American people? Because Bush makes everything political. It can never be just about what's best for the country.
